So i was surfin the Interwebs and found some neat things.

• Motherboards the main part of the computer and if it fries or breaks that’s bayud K?
• List and describe 6 common form factors

• AT & AT baby- (advance technology) AT is a 12” motherboard and AT baby is a 8.5” motherboard with extra slots

• ATX- is like the AT with many slots for a mouse, keyboards and video. Expansion slots were put on a separate riser card.

• Micro ATX- is a smaller ATX with less I/O slots but more I/O space.

• LPX- found in low profile motherboard found in desktops and mini towers.

• NLX- upgraded LPX

• CPUs – a chip that does most of the Data Processing.

• PC Cooling systems- keeps the fan cool so it doesn’t overheat.

• ROM and RAM- bosses in Gears of War, but serious types of computer memory RAM is main Memory. ROM is Read only Memory

• Adapter cards- Card that can be installed in the CPU to add Monitors and stuff

• Storage drives

• Hard Drive-stores digitally encoded data on rapidly spinning magnets

• Floppy Drive- a thin hard drive that is not as good

• Optical Drive – reads the disks

• Internal cables

• Molex- A type of power connection, which has a plastic end attached to four wires: one yellow (12V), one red (5V) and two black.There are female and male Molex® connectors.

• Berg- Iceberg

• PATA- is an interface standard for the connection of storage devices such as hard disks, solid-state drives, floppy drives, and CD-ROM

• SATA-computer bus, is a storage-interface for connecting host bus adapters to mass storage devices such as hard disk drives and optical drives.
